Managing User Permissions and Roles

Effective user management is essential for maintaining control and organization within MagicAI. With the User Permission/Role Management feature, you can assign roles and customize permissions to ensure users have appropriate access. Here’s how to use this feature:


Managing User Roles

Assign roles to users to define their level of access and control.

  1. Navigate to User Management > Users List in the dashboard.
  2. Select a user from the list.
  3. Change their role to either:
    • Admin: Limited permissions for specific administration tasks.
    • Super Admin: Full permissions, including the ability to manage admin permissions.

Customizing Admin User Permissions

Super Admins can further refine what Admin users can access.

  1. Go to User Management > User Permissions in the dashboard.
  2. Select the administration pages you want Admin users to access.
  3. Save your settings to customize their permissions.

Role and Permission Summary

  • Super Admins: Full access to all features and settings, including the ability to manage Admin permissions.
  • Admins: Limited access based on permissions set by Super Admins.

This feature ensures a secure and flexible user management system tailored to your organization’s needs.
