You can integrate Stable Diffusion AI into MagicAI as an alternative to OpenAI's Dall-E AI image generator.
Configuring the Stable Diffusion API
- Generate your DreamStudio API key by following the steps in Stability AI’s official guide available here.
- Copy the DreamStudio API key that you generated.
- Go to Settings > Stable Diffusion page from your MagicAI dashboard.
- Paste your copied DreamStudio API Key to the StableDiffusion API Secret field.
- Select the default Stable Diffusion language and click save.
- Lastly, test your API key by clicking the “Click here to test your API key” button. If you see the SUCCESS message on the page that opens when you click it, everything is fine.
How to use Stable Diffusion?
Go to the AI Image page in your MagicAI dashboard. Above the input field, you will see the DALL-E and Stable Diffusion options. There you can choose the AI generator to use.

Images created with Dall-E AI have the DE badge in the corner, and images created with Stable Diffusion AI have the SD badge in the corner.
